Save files from a SharePoint Document Library to the root folder of SkyDrive. You will be prompted for your SharePoint login and for your SkyDrive login.
After transferring a file to SkyDrive you can grant read-only access to third parties by sending them a link to the file via e-mail.
Tested with SharePoint 2013 Online. This app is experimental and much work needs to be done. Use at your own risk! It's based on the following sample solution from the Window Phone Dev Center:
It uses the SharePoint SDK for Windows Phone and the Live SDK to access SkyDrive. Controls from the Windows Phone Toolkit are included which is licensed under Ms-PL.
A Microsoft Online Account is needed to log in to SharePoint.
Restrictions: Folders in DocLibs are not handled. Files are always saved to SkyDrive root folder.
The app doesn't use Location services, but the SharePoint SDK needs the Location capability. See this blog post for details: http://sharepointbrainpump.blogspot.de/2013/02/why-do-windows-phone-apps-for-sharepoint-need-access-to-location-services.html
